That could be a problem, doesn’t Norton Security include an antivirus, therefore you are running two antivirus and they “could” be in conflict with each other. If (?) that is the case uninstall Avast
As mentioned above, AVAST has had reported conflicts with Manager but that’s generally been during the download, not day to day running of Manager.

In the taskbar, along the bottom of the screen, right click the Avast icon then you should see one of the following - Disable, Temporary Disable or unclick Real Time Protection.
If you go this route, after installing go to the data file (not program) folder and see which files Manager has created by default - then “only” copy across files that are missing from that folder
