If you are using Gmail, you have the option of having Google store and index the emails you send from Manager, so all your sent emails will be searchable and backed-up on Google’s servers.
Step 1: Enable 2-Step-Verification
- Open your Google Account.
- In the navigation panel, select Security.
- Under “Signing in to Google,” select 2-Step Verification and then Get started.
- Follow the on-screen steps.
Step 2: Generate app password
Open your Google Account
In the navigation panel, select Security.
Under “Signing in to Google,” select App Passwords and then Get started.
Select Other/Custom name
from Select App
. Give it a name such as Manager App
and then click Generate.
Note down the application password as it will be required in the next step.
Step 3: Configure email settings in Manager
Enter the Gmail details under Settings
tab, then Email Settings
.

to your Gmail email address - Set
Hostname
tosmtp.gmail.com
and port to587
- Set
Username
to your Gmail email address. - Set
Password
to your Gmail app password
