Google Gmail

If you are using Gmail, you have the option of having Google store and index the emails you send from Manager, so all your sent emails will be searchable and backed-up on Google’s servers.

Step 1: Enable 2-Step-Verification

  1. Open your Google Account.
  2. In the navigation panel, select Security.
  3. Under “Signing in to Google,” select 2-Step Verification and then Get started.
  4. Follow the on-screen steps.

Step 2: Generate app password

In the navigation panel, select Security.

Under “Signing in to Google,” select App Passwords and then Get started.

Select Other/Custom name from Select App. Give it a name such as Manager App and then click Generate.

Note down the application password as it will be required in the next step.

Step 3: Configure email settings in Manager

Enter the Gmail details under Settings tab, then Email Settings.

  • Set Email address to your Gmail email address
  • Set Hostname to smtp.gmail.com and port to 587
  • Set Username to your Gmail email address.
  • Set Password to your Gmail app password
