By default, Manager will send emails using an in-built SMTP server.
use custom SMTP settings if you want your mails to be sent from your own email id.
these settings are provided by your email provider.

am currently using desktop edition version 17.12.9 and my operating system is window 10
I tried to send email through SMTP server on manager and it works without any problem but i have email on gmail and i want to receive emails from supplier or customer through my email so could you please explain how i can fix this

the email feature in Manager is used to send the documents generated in Manager by mail.
you cannot use Manager as an email client to send and receive emails.
if you are having problems setting up your own gmail as a custom SMTP, you should enable two-step authentication in gmail. search the forum as this has already been discussed a few many times in the past.

@aramos, you need to provide lots more information about what operating system, email application, etc.

Was just entering information you were requested in order for you to better assistance me. I just wanted to try one more time before getting the info and it worked, I am speechless, for the last two days been trying and was unsuccessful.
