Cant recover old documents

Good afternoon,

I had Manager.io on my MAC computer but somehow I cannot log into my old accounts.

I downloaded Manager.io again but I guess the newer version.

I need to access the old accounts.

When I try to open the accounts it says…

"Your database has been upgraded to the latest version while your desktop edition is still an older version. Upgrade desktop edition to the latest version which will resolve this issue.
This usually happens when you install server edition of newer version on the same computer.

So what version is this error coming from? The version number is visible within the program. You can post the screenshot.

I can’t open the program.

I don’t know how to get the version number for the old manager.io program.
It is just blank and gives me the error message.

@shortline, the screen shot you showed is the result of a Spotlight search, not a directory or contents of a folder. It is showing you a bunch of backups previously stored on your Mac. (That is a terrible idea, by the way, because when—not if—your computer eventually crashes, you will lose your backups. Store your backups on some separate drive.)

You need to be sure you downloaded the latest program version here. Open the disk image and drag the program to your Applications folder.

I believe the reason you cannot find your old files is related to a change in the default location of your application data folder. Either modify the location to the old location or import the businesses from that location into the program, which will store them in the new location. This was discussed here:

Read the entire threads, because the change originally looked like a bug. Solutions are described.

Show screenshot of that error message. There is a version number in there.
