Using custom theme with footer

Hi there,

The chronology:

  1. I made footer in sales order.

it showed:

  1. Then I made theme for viewing Customer Code in Sales Order:

Then checked it at Sales Order:

then it showed

If I unchecked the theme, then the footer would appear.

How both to be appeared?

Regards

You cannot

What @Joe91 means is that the Footers feature isn’t compatible with Themes since those are now obsolete so use themes at your own risk.

Anyway, if you’re still using themes, you can copy the entire contents of your footer directly in your theme and it will appear.

Thank you @Ealfardan, it solves my problem. I will use this method.

By the way, do you know other ways of not using theme but still view the Customer Code or any fields in invoice or sales order?
I’m aware that custom theme is our own risk, so better have other safe option.

That depends on where you want to view the codes. You can include them in customer names. You can put them into custom fields designated to show on the relevant transaction forms. Etc.

I put in customer name, but it did not work:

then viewing the invoice:

When I use custom field like this:

It cannot view edit mode in invoice:

it showed the same when I create this method:

Could you give me some instruction? Let’s say, I want to put the customer code in front of the Customer name. What are the steps?

Regards,

Manager does not work with dynamic fields such as {{receipient code}}

@Juta, you have taken this topic too far from its original subject. That violates the rules of the forum. Your original question was marked as having a solution. So I will make one last comment, but then close this topic. If you want to continue discussion of the new issue, start a new topic.

As for showing the customer name, I simply meant to literally include it in the customer Name field.
