Updated Desktop version still has issues

Hi, I updated the desktop version as i was using the older version v.15 till now. I read in the forum that the data gets rolled over to the updated version. However, I still get the below message when i look at the data.

This business database is not valid

Manager data is stored in SQLite database. However it appears the file you are attempting to open is not a SQLite database.

How do i resolve this?

Your version is so old, you will have to update in two stages. Instructions have been furnished many times on the forum. Look for posts by @Patch

Could you please consider to pin the post by @Patch or that a forum category is created for most common solved issues. Alternatively maybe more can be done to merge topics that discuss the same stuff.
