Even though I have uploaded an attachment and the file appears on the account information I am unable to open the attachment file.
You need to furnish more information. What version are you using? Where is the attachment? How are you trying to view it? Illustrate with screenshots.
Did you manage to open that jpg file before uploading?
Yes I can open all the files in the original folder, just not the uploaded ones.
So when you click on the attached file and save it to some folder it does not open?
I take a photo of the document and save it to my files. I can open the file from there.
I use new attachment at attach the file from my stored file, it loads to manager and appears as a file in manager, however when I try to open the attachment nothing happens.
It may have something to do with file size. High resolution photos in .jpeg or .jpg can be quite large.
I find that scanning to PDF at a resolution of 300dpi produces a file size of less than 350kb for an A4 sheet which gives a very clear readable image that works well in Manager.io.
I can not replicate the problem. You need to furnish more details as requested by @Tut. In any case update your version to v23.6.28.854 and also provide the file-location of the attachment (you only provided the location where the original is).
Also provide information about your Operating System and the requested screenshot of the attempted viewing of the attachment.
I think I have fixed it, it looks like it was a back up issue as I tried it on my laptop and it came back as a corrupt file.
I have now backed up from and older one and it appears to be working
