Searching for a stock item or product within a document
How can I search for a product listed on invoice lines

C- Proof of delivery of goods

As well as in the purchase

Purchase Order
Since there is no function to search for a product category within the document, whether it is selling, buying, quoting, delivering or receiving, the number of products exceeded 100 inventory items. How can I search for a product, for example? Varieties are difficult to obtain by traditional methods
Why isn’t there a field to search inside the invoice or other documents mentioned earlier?
You have answered your own question. To discover the history of an inventory item, you must drill down on the numbers in the Inventory Items tab.
You can search in stock items, but you cannot search inside the invoice
How can I quickly search within invoice categories
If you keep asking the same question, you will get the same answer.
It seems that you do not have an answer to my question and that your ability to respond to the customer is not convincing
We have been working on the director’s programs since his appearance. There are many suggestions and questions that work to develop the manager, but it seems to me that you do not have enough capacity to understand the needs of the labor market and the client
You are not my customer. I am a forum moderator, not an employee of NGSoftware. I am a user just like you. I understood your question. I simply explained what the program will do and how to get the information you want.
Hello @alwakeel, if you’re a new user to Manager, welcome on board.
There’s a few things to have in mind to set your expectations when it comes to reporting.
First, this is a community forum as my dear friend Tut just implied.
Second, Manager isn’t setup like most other software out there. I will spare you the technical details but you have to know that underlying Manager’s architecture are some compromises.
With Manager you get:
- dynamic and extensible data structure
- robust and reliable data structure that’s not easy to corrupt
- fully functioning history function
- ability to Undo things (which is a big thing not found in most other software)
- outstanding database performance; and
- easy and intuitive REST API for your developers to use in integrations.
Just to name a few.
But there’s a cost to all these benefits and it’s mainly that querying isn’t as extensive as other software.
There are alternatives, however. You can:
- As my friend Tut just pointed out:
- Use Sales Invoice Totals by Items report to view all invoices with the item in mind.
- While most user will not do it, but it’s still a possibility and that is to do your own reporting Power BI template to get reports not natively provided in Manager.
It might seem limiting at first, but give it some time and you’ll find alternative flows to get what you want and keep reaping the benefits of using Manager.
