I am trying to do a search on the description field through “receipts & payments” but not getting any results or at least not related to the item description line. The field I am interested in is on the item line ie: Item Account DESCRIPTION line. Is this possible?
No. When you search, you are only searching what is visible on the screen at the moment, not all contents of transactions included in the list. Read the Guide: Search for records | Manager.
