I have looked through the guides and forum but cannot find an answer to my problem.
When I apply rounding down (having ticked rounding in the form default) to an invoice, the result rounds down to a whole number; I need rounding to a tenth i.e. in the example given below from 30.18 to 30.10. My currency is set to two decimal places. Screenshots of the edit screen and view screen follow
Thanks Tut for the response, and understand the limitation to whole number rounding
Our prices are already in whole numbers; the challenge arises because the quantities usually have two decimal places and our customers are averse to rounding the quantities.
Whilst this is possible, manually arriving at a value to one decimal place would require price iteration which our clerks, understandably, find difficult.
Is there no scope for offering more options under the rounding box?
Where does this stop? You ask for tenths. Others will ask for thousandths, or tens, or hundreds (remember, rounding can go both ways).
Perhaps a solution is to adjust the total with a rounding line item rather than using the automatic feature. This is described in the Guides about discounts. Just change the terminology.
