Questions regarding server edition

  1. If I buy the Server Edition… is this price per user or can I have multiple users? I have 7 users in my office who all access the system at the same time.
  2. Will it run on Windows Server 2003?
  3. Are there any tools to import data from other software? Not sure if we’d even use it, but I do have a lot of data in an old version of Navision (which is now Microsoft Dynamics).

  1. Yes, server edition doesn’t have a limit on number of users or businesses
  2. Yes, but you will need to be on SP2
  3. You can import list of customers, suppliers, items etc. from spreadsheets. For anything more complicated API will need to be used which will require a little programming.
