PDF not generated correctly: Click PDF button for invoices and Quotes and the PDF displayed has all detail cut-off on the left side.
Please provide more details regarding your concern.
Are you using the desktop version? if so, what version?
Can you provide a screenshot of the error you’re experiencing?
I tried to generate a PDF just now and it looks fine to me. No details were cut-off. I’m using cloud version, by the way.
hello
please see attached 2 pdf files generated from manager - the quote is wrong (cut-off on left side) and the invoice is right - the invoice is right only because I used
Microsoft xps document writer to make and xps file and then convert to pdf.
when we click on the pdf button in manager then it cuts of some details on the pdf it makes and resizes the columns.
I am using the free offline version 20,8,35
(Attachment invoice-miftaahul usool kitaab.pdf is missing)
(Attachment Quote - Wynberg District & Homing Union.pdf is missing)
Are you using custom themes?
What version of Windows?
Is your .net up to date?
Please reupload the attachments so we can take a look at them.
hi
windows 7 - 32 bit
.net framework 4.6
plain theme but with some fields I added.
Users have reported problems with their .Net not being up to date. Updating it seemed to have corrected some errors
So it is a custom theme then if you have modified a plain theme
Do you get the same problem using the plain theme supplied by Manager without any modifications?
It would be helpful if you posted screen shots - it is difficult to know what could be going wrong from descriptions “has all detail cut-off on the left side” - what detail? how much?
actually I did not alter the form / theme - I only added fields in the business details section which then appear on the invoice.
see attached distorted pdf - all the clients details don’t appear and everything moves to the left.
what version of .net do you recommend?
This certainly looks like the sort of errors that arise from an out of date version of .Net
Just search for an update on the Microsoft site or search the forum for some pointers to the right site
In the long term, relying on Windows 7 is going to cause you more and more problems so I would strongly advise upgrading to Windows 10 either by getting a new PC or updating the O/S
I would also add that photos of the screen do not work the best - using a tool to copy and paste the actual screen is better - more visible and you can zoom in and out
