Old versions of manager files: are they always readable?

I have two Manager files; one is always in use and updates structurally (if necessary) automatically when I update Manager on a regular basis.

The other I use for a event which operates on a cyclical basis (just 2 months a year). If Manager goes through a series of upgrades without me opening this file, will Manager always detect and upgrade as necessary, or is there a constraint (eg a time limit or a major software release level upgrade).

thanks.

Currently Manager includes upgrade script supporting versions 5 years back. However, even if you happen to have a database outside of the upgrade window, you can always download slightly older version of Manager and then the latest.

Many thanks; much appreciated.

Are older versions available to download from the Manager site?
