Manager backing up as Windows Media Player files

I have just noticed Manager is backing my files up as Windows Media Player files. Can someone help me change this please?

That is a windows file association issue not a Manager issue. Support is best via different forums.

You could try right clicking on the backup file an choosing open with → choose Manager
or Open Manger → choose import business and select your backup file.

I tried that by right-clicking on the file, but Manager does not come up in the list.

Then use my other solution as that will be easier for you.
(or choose other and select the Manager program, which will require you to know where it was installed on your computer assuming you are running the desktop version of Manger)
