we are still waiting for Lot with Expiry Date and tracking the items by Lot
from purchase Invoice to Sales invoice Cycle
As new user please note the FAQ at FAQ - Manager Forum
Be specific. Do not just tell us a feature does not work. Explain what you have done and why you think there is an issue. If your question relates to an apparent software problem (rather than an accounting topic), tell us your operating system (including the version), Manager edition (desktop, server, or cloud), and exactly what you think is wrong. If possible, post screen shots illustrating the problem.
Also note that it says:
Help yourself by following two simple pieces of advice:
- Read the Guides first. They explain many features and functions of Manager. They include helpful illustrations and examples. We are always adding new ones and updating existing ones as capabilities of the program improve.
- Search before you post. Chances are good you are not the first person with a similar question. If you cannot find what you need in the Guides, thousands of topics with tens of thousands of postings make it likely the answer to your question is already here on the Forum. Before starting a new topic, tap into our huge, crowdsourced knowledge base.
I would also like to add that you should use terminology used in Manager. There is no such thing as a Lot
in Manager.
Dear Eko,
thank you for your reply,
i used a server edition of manager since 2017, everything is cleared for me
iam just asking about the Lot and Expiry feature when we can use it as a built-in feature
regards
For now use Custom fields for these purposes. I hope Advance queries gets improvement so we can get balance per lot and expiry date.
@AlaaD, what you ask would be a complete revision to the program’s inventory philosophy. Manager assumes all units of an inventory item are identical and interchangeable. There is no underlying capability to associate individual units with lot numbers or expiration dates or any other parameters. Expecting such a change is likely to be disappointing.
