I get an internal error when sending an e-mail.
[WorkingSet64 not updated.]
Internal errors in Manager always indicate a bug. Hope @Lubos will take urgent care of it,
Looks like TLS certificate is not trusted or invalid.
There is Troubleshooting
section under SMTP settings
where you can make Manager ignore these errors.
I’ll leave this in the bugs
on the basis that the error should be “prettier”
@Lubos this may be related Email Settings - #16 by eko Possibly an update in the mail-server code may have been implemented that causes the email function no longer to behave. We did not change any settings but for some weeks now we can not use email anymore in any business (they have different hosting providers and used to work well). I did not post any further comment as usually you at some time look into it.
@eko I will make a switch to modern SMTP library in upcoming days which solve the problem. I think the issue is that the one I’m currently using is obsolete.
Excellent news, The current system indeed seems to no longer be fit for purpose, thank you!
The latest version (27.7.23) is using new modern SMTP library to send out emails. I was finally able to add support for port 465 too.
Thank you!
Sending e-mails (port 587) is working again.
@Lubos, Yes, can confirm it works again, thanks! Only one strange behaviour when changing ports to 465 all information as expected remains, but unexpectedly not the password, this gets erased and we had to look them up as the smtp email addresses and passwords we use are for Manager only.
Good day
I am also experiencing the same problem with sending e-mails for sales quotes.
I also uploaded a screenshot of my current e-mail settings.
I appreciate your helpl very much.
Did you enter the password (again)?
