External folder pathway not working Mac

On my Mac I have tried to change the file location from which the application stores my businesses.When I click the change location folder in the bottom left of the screen the programme gives a blank screen then after several minutes crashes

What version of Manager? What version of macOS?

I am using Mac OS 10.14.6

Manager 21.2.22

Try turning your Mac completely off, then restarting and relaunching the program. (Do not just restart, but actually shut down first.) Let me know if that works.

Did this the program now does not crash but I still only get a blank manager screen
