Error massage for back up upload

Hi one of new client want to move to cloud version from destop version,
but when we try to open after importing it from their backup it is showing the Erros massage,
Can you please advice?

Some questions

  1. is the file an actual Manager backup file (size not zero, produced by Manager)

  2. About how old is the backup or more importantly about what version of Manger was it produced with.

If it is from an old version of Manager, this post maybe an issue for you Impossible to migrate from 16.9.98 to 21.7.28 with 20.9.89 recommendation - #13 by Patch

In addition to @Patch query and suggestion. Make sure that all works well first with the current Desktop version (at time of this post v23.10.19.1085 from Download - Manager.io). Then create a backup and import into the Cloud version. This would then be seamless.

Please ensure you back all original data prior to any fault finding.
Please back up again to another device.

Please answer the questions. You have access to your files no one else dose. The questions are not asked to waste your time but to help you find a solution.

Old versions of Manager used UUID as file names, newer us actual business names. Have you tried opening one of those manager files with UUID names?

Backup happens before you play and corrupt the files.
When you uploaded to the cloud, that should have been a file on you computer which you should have kept a copy / back up of.
The desk top version of Manager keeps the Manager data files in the application data folder on your computer. You can access that directly if you try.
