Email Set up

@Eko, I know exactly which screen you are talking about I do that with my personal email account. For some reason my business one doe snot direct me there.

My business email page is giving me security warning as we tried to turn on the access for less secure app’s as we read that could help fix the problem, now it is alerting me. I took a screen shot when I click on protect your account, it only directs me to remove the access for less secure app’s. I do not know why I do not have the option for 2 way verification.


You need to Turn off the less secure access. Then you should get a similar screen to what I showed that enables you to setup 2 Factor Authentication.

If this does not work read Turn on 2-Step Verification - Android - Google Account Help because if you use an account through your work, school, or other group and these steps (in link) might not work. If you can’t set up 2-Step Verification, contact your administrator for help because they may have disabled this.

thank you @eko I will contact google account help as it must have been de-activated. The screen now only looks like this, saying my account is protected. I will let you know once I have come right. I appreciate your assistance.

Please what do you see when clicking on See details (show screenshot of resulting page). Please also note that there is no reason to contact Google account but that you need to contact your Administrator of the business account, see Who is my administrator? - Google Workspace Admin Help

@eko I just want to thank you for your assistance. I finally managed to get my email set up. The hardest part was to get 2 way verification on my google accounts. Once again thank you for taking the time to assist a non IT person like myself and all your patience. Really appreciate it.
