You never answered as to whether you have contacted godaddy. This shows no sign of being a Manager problem.
Thank you for your response. The firewall has been turned off when i first experienced this issue. I wanted to make sure it was not the problem before I reached out for help. Also I have not installed any applications in a long time so any application that was installed on my mac was there before and the manager app was working. Thank you for your suggestions.
Thanks for your response. I just got off the phone with godaddy. They are assuring me that the smtp server and ports are working correctly since I am able to both send and receive emais in both the mac mail and thunderbird applications.
well then i am out of ideas. it seems only you are experiencing this issue on a mac and that eliminates the possibility of this being an issue with Manager. this might be a local issue with the setup of your system.
anyway, one last thing to try is a full uninstall and then installing the latest version of Manager after making sure everything related to previous installation of Manager is deleted including any folders. also, do not forget to make a backup of your business before uninstalling.
Thank you for your response. Is there an automated uninstall for manager or do I just drag the app to the trash. Also if thats the case are there any other files or folders I need to trash? Thanks,
There is no uninstall utility. Just drag the application icon from the Applications folder to the trash. Do not delete anything in the application data folder, which is normally hidden anyway.
However, this really should not be necessary, as updating the program provides the opportunity to save or delete the old version. Be sure to follow the procedures here: Install or update desktop edition on macOS | Manager.
