I do consignment sales, and so I have been using inventory transfers to my customers. When they report monthly sales, I must issue them a sales invoice for that month in order to be paid. As I recall, it used to be possible to select an inventory location on a sales invoice, not just a sales receipt. I also recall using this feature to verify end-of-year inventory qty with my customers through an inventory quantity by location report. The option for an inventory location on a sales invoice doesn’t appear anymore, and now my inventory numbers show that nothing has been sold from my customer “inventory” location.
I also activated delivery notes in an attempt to rectify this problem. Oops. But it didn’t make a difference.
Any suggestions on this issue?
