Copy to clipboard not working

when using batch update option in sales invoices the copy to clipboard option is not working instead the page is loading for couple minutes and the whole page goes as, aww snap, i tried this in various pc’s and various browsers still the problem continues, and even its happening only for one business other businesses are fine.


What edition (desktop, server, or cloud)?
What version number?
What operating system?
On the Businesses screen, what is the size of your data file for the business?
How many sales invoices are there?
What do you see if you click the “Learn more” link?
What happens if you click the Reload button?
Where did the “25/10/19” in the top bar come from? When I do a Batch Update on sales invoices, I see only:

but i want to copy few invoices only but when im click the batch upload button page is loading for couple minutes and the whole page goes as, aww snap

@musthaq, try this.

  1. First of all, back up your business as the Manager recommends before doing any batch updates.
  2. Don’t search/filter invoices in Manager. Copy them all and paste into a sheet.
  3. Filter out invoices in sheet and delete unnecessary ones. Make sure you don’t lose the “Key” to every invoice you want to update.
  4. “Key” is the last column you will find in every record, it is the unique ID of every invoice.
  5. Do the necessary changes and batch update.

You cannot do that. The function copies all transactions of the type you are updating.

There is no batch upload button. What are you actually referring to?

you say you have 795 sales invoices but the tab count in your screenshot shows 37716 invoices.
either the details you provided are wrong or your business database file is corrupted for some reason.

This sounds like a time-out issue. Depending on your internet bandwidth, copying almost 38,000 invoices might take too long. What is your download speed?

If your data size exceeds some threshold on manager , copying to clipboard is not working properly for desktop & cloud version due to size of copying data…

There will be any update for this issue? Maybe we can download the batches instead of copying?

In my case, i have to update my batch for 45K sales invoices but i can’t copying the batches… Thanks in advance for your interest,

Could you do them in smaller batches?

What exactly are you trying to update in your sales invoices, @FerhatAL? In the first place, it should be rare to update a sales invoice already issued. In the second place, there might be some other way to accomplish what you want.

@FerhatAL, have you read the other threads on the forum where users report a similar problem? All have apparently been using Chromium-based browsers.

What edition are you using (desktop, server, cloud)? If you are working through a browser, try a non-Chromium browser.
