Help with what?
Help on how to reconnect to the Server.
Ask your IT support - if you are running the Server version of Manager, you are assumed to have the necessary infrastructure support in-house or via an IT support contract
This forum is support for using Manager software, not general IT issues
Manager server is just one application running on the server. If it’s deployed correctly on a specific URL, then it should work like just like any website – put the URL in the browser and you will access the site.
There are no settings in Manager to connect client devices and since Manager is running on your server PC, then the problem is with the server configuration and not with Manager program.
But it doesn’t hurt to revisit the installation guides to help troubleshoot your issue:
It is very common to have power-outages in Nigeria. I am confused that you now use the Server Edition as not so long ago you were asking how to pay for the Cloud edition. For your client systems to connect to the Cloud edition you just need to type the URL in the browser and be sure that you actually have internet access (as power-outage could have affected your router, so check if you actually have internet).
Similarly if you have installed server edition then as @Ealfardan mentioned you also need to type the URL to connect to the server. Both server and client need to be on the network (internet).
My Client opted for the server edition due to regular downtime emanating from internet issues.
So the client installed the server edition on a local network? The clients would have connected with their browser using the server IP address. So make sure that the server is running properly. In this case follow @Ealfardan suggestion because this is not a Manager program issue but a Server and network issue and thus not supported.
Even if the hardware server restarted you need to make sure that Manager-server is also running. The installation guide explains how to start Manager-server application on the server.
Thanks @eko , your initial suggestion to check the Router for possible damage due to the outage worked. The Router indeed got damaged even though it was powering on. I had to change it and behold, the network was restored.
Thanks everyone for the contributions.
