@Dickson, it is very unlikely you have the same problem as the original poster reported. Whatever problem that was, it was reported as cleared in post #4. Then, the thread was hijacked by someone else. Upon more detailed questioning, that person’s problem turned out to be different. When asked diagnostic questions, the second person vanished without answering.
The fact that you see the screen you posted proves the program is running. So you need to furnish more information. What edition (desktop or server)? What operating system? How did you install the updated version? Have you ever changed you application data folder location?
I am using desktop version 22.1.8 on a windows 11 machine, I just download and run the install without uninstalling the old version, application data folder location remains the same (default path).
I managed to find a file from my backup, it open once correctly on version 22.1.8 and as soon as I closed it, that was the last time it opened. Now it gives the same issue.
@Tut I have followed your instruction, the business managed to open, I was able to add some entries and made a backup, but once I closed manager and open it again, the business could not open back to the same issue, it seems like something happens to the file once it open and closed and the only way it opens is if import another clean backup that was not open in manager 22.1.8 and then it works but once off and that file never open again. I hope you get my explanation.
