Bank transactions from prior year "disappeared"

Good day
I changed my reporting dates on the Summary screen to be the same as my financial year end. Now I realised that all my bank transactions from the prior year had disappeared. I cannot think the two things are related, but changing the date was all I did differently. I do think that there was an update on the manager system and am not sure if this could have affected anything. All my bank recons are unbalanced now and my all client invoices are showing as outstanding :frowning: Please help!

It could be something related to this:
Start date no longer required

Try this fix:

  • Take a backup
  • Import your backup
  • Go to Summary > Retained Earnings
  • Go to the bottom of the screen where you’ll find this:

    Click on it and follow the instructions for this utility

See if this fixes it for you.

Changing reporting dates on Summary screens could not result in transactions disappearing. If you send me your accounting file to lubos@manager.io, I can have a look.
