Hi
Can anyone help me to understand why I get this import error:
Program doesn’t give anymore information about error.
I’ve done this 100 times even with large files - had no problems, so I’m confused what could went wrong.
Settings format=import format.
Any ideas?
Thanks

What does your first screen shot show?
You’re not using US date format. Bank import only works with mm/dd/yyy.

What Manager version?
Date format appears to require manual input from Lubos so maybe a risk of regression bugs
Btw
Date format in all places must be consistent
Manager
import file
computer localisation settings

Patch:
What Manager version?
21.8.39
Solnce:
that’s not correct
This must mean that you already tried setting your excel cell format to “mm/dd/yyy” and it still didn’t work out, right?

Manager’s date format dd/mm/yyyy
Excels’s date format dd/mm/yyyy
CSV file format dd/mm/yyyy
I’ve never used US date format and don’t think I have to. I’m in UK and UK format used to work perfectly fine just now something went wrong.

Don’t take this the wrong way but you’re being stubborn for no reason.
I too don’t use the US date format but for bank imports I have too. This is something that’s been bugging a lot of users as well.
I am 99.9% certain that this is the cause of your problem. So please try it before going into futile arguments.

I don’t think so. I have been using dd.mm.yy (31.01.20) and it works fine.

@Solnce try using this format dd.mm.yy (31.01.20) instead of 31/01/2020 and let see.
You’re using an ancient version. (Sorry, I thought 31.01.20 was your version)
This bug have been introduced after that. The developer’s reasoning was that it has something to do with server time or something.
This is a well discussed issue. Please research the forum.

Come on, you are reaching out to help, nothing bad about that.
Maybe @Solnce ’s problem is not a date format problem. We shall see.

OK, that took a while, but I’ve found it and it has nothing to do with Manager, although from program side error reporting could be verbose.
Initial bank statements were not CSV file, but scanned and OCR processed so in the mid of the file I got few places were
l instead of 1
O instead of 0
and that caused the program to reject entire import process.
Thanks everyone for help.
