My firm has recently merged with a larger firm. We are both using Manager as accounting software for our clients. I recently backed up the accounting file of one of my clients to bring it under the Manager plaform of the new larger firm. The backup went well and smoothly and I can see all the attachments came through. However, I can’t open any of the attachments.
The issue was with backup not supporting backup with attachments. So if you move accounting file from one cloud workspace to another, attachments didn’t transfer over.
Backup with attachments is now supported but if you have too many attachments, backup will be slow. I’m working on rectifying this too.
Good to note backups are back. Now please also bring back history in case you either want or not to include it as in older versions. It helps to create chart of account templates for new businesses, and more importantly the history function is excellent and helps enormously with audits.
