I am wanting to print a list of customers, and can’t see anywhere in the advanced queries where I can filter out inactive customers. Am I missing something or is this not possible?
As treasurer of a club, I want to do up a list of current members only contact details.
thanks,
The simplest is to add a custom field and include in Advanced queries. However it would be very helpful and logical if @Lubos would enable Advanced quesry filter on active/inactive in whichever Tab.
I have each club member allocated a code…ie 3 alpha of surname
When member resigns I allocate “resign” in CODE column or leave blank
You can then create customer list which omits if CODE is empty or my case it omits it if has “resigned” in the code column
You could also use any other field (including a custom field) that is left empty or has something in it
the above screenshot shows inactive that do not have “resigned” on the code column. All the resigned memebrs are not listed.
You may have noticed that Inactive customers appear at the bottom of the list. This makes it very easy to copy to clipboard, paste into a spreadsheet, and delete the inactive customer rows. But @eko’s suggestion to include direct filtering would be better.
thank you for the clear advice, I have followed it and very happy with the results. Much appreciated
