Active customer count

I have done a custom report on active customers is there any way I can get a count of active customers. doesn’t have to be a report it can be in the customer list

A custom report will not count customers, but only list ledger postings. But the counter window for the Customers tab shows active customers. This example is from a test company with two active customers, but additional inactive customers:

Just to clarify…

The number that @Tut mentioned assumes you are using the Inactive checkbox on Customer edit screen.

If you are defining “inactive” as something else (e.g. hasn’t placed an order in the past 6 months), the solution would be different.
