How can one work offline with cloud version assuming you have internet black out for a long time? Thanks
Just backup and use it with personal edition. When you will return you will have to upload the file on the cloud.
You won’t be able to make a backup from the cloud edition if you have no internet. So unless you save a backup every session, you would be restricted to using an out-of-date version of your records. There is no way to synchronize entries you have made offline when you get back to the cloud edition.
You are going to have to use the desktop edition or the cloud edition at a given moment. It will not be simple to jump back and forth between them. If you don’t need multiple users, it would be easier to use the desktop edition and arrange for backups in the cloud.
Also, you might run into problem with versions.
The Cloud version will always be the latest version, but the Desktop version may be an earlier version, in which case you might not be able to import the backup from the Cloud version
Another alternative is to have a backup Internet connection - for example, a mobile phone that you can share internet from to your computer. That way, you can at least get online to continue working (or to take an up-to-date backup) when your regular Internet connection unexpectedly cuts out.
Thank you all the answers, it was in did helpful.
