I am having trouble giving a restricted user access to Customer Statements. The user can create Invoices and delete etc. The user has Reports enabled and on the face of it would expect the report to view / generate OK.
See settings selected very likely to to be something not enabled but not able to pin point.
@compuit, this may seem pedantic. But you say you are having trouble giving access to Customer Statements. Yet your screen shots show that you have. You mention some expectations for the Reports tab, but do not say whether your expectations were met. You do not actually say whether this user can view, create, update, or delete customer statements. If not, what happens when they try? You also do not say whether customers have been defined. (You will not be able to generate a statement if there are no customers.)
Shucks humble apologies the story is incomplete. If impersonating the user, the user can go to for example Customer Statements (Unpaid Invoices) and see the following:
Then if the user clicks on any of the “View” buttons in the above list nothing shows as shown below.
So yes there are many customers for which the user can see Invoices and transactions but not generate statements. This might have been an update as it was working for this user in the past. As revealed above it is just blank. So I was wondering if there was a security or access component needed or changed for this user?
To me it looks like as if custom theme is selected for these customer statements and this custom theme has no content. But that would give you the same issue across all users - not just restricted.
Just to be sure, can you click Set Date button when on the list of customer statements? What do you see?
