Hi everybody. I am using the programm desktop version on windows 10, everything ok. But I will buy a chromebook, an acer cb315-3ht 15.6". It has ofcourse chrome os. Can I run the linux version on chrome os?
Chrome OS is based on Linux kernel. so it should be possible. but installation instructions are beyond the scope of this forum unless any other user has already done it and choose to share it.

The new method for installing Linux apps on a Chromebook (internally known as Crostini) and running Linux apps on a Chromebook will not replace the Chrome OS as the apps run in an isolated virtual machine without a Linux desktop. So there is no GUI and you have to use terminal window.
Benefits of doing this is you can run not only Manager desktop but also Libre Office and other Linux apps on Chromebooks
