Updating to the last version of server edition

image
Kindly note that I’m trying to update to the last version of the server edition but when I’m copying the new files to the main folder it is giving me these files with the old date … is it normal?

That doesn’t seem like you are doing the update in the correct manner.
Users of the server version are assumed to have the technical ability to install, manage and administer the installation un-aided

Thank you for your reply
I’m Updating in this way:
1- Downloading the last version of server edition
2- Extracting it
3- Copying contents files to the current system folder which the company is using for many months now

And it was going properly and everytime new files replaces the old files, Except this time it is giving me strange date which is in the past

What directory are you copying from and to - and are you sure that you have extracted all the files correctly

It looks like you have files in the To directory dated yesterday, so you must have downloaded and copied them yesterday?

From the newly downloaded extracted folder to the main folder which is used for months
yes I’m sure

I updated on 8 and today updating again

Are you sure you extracted from the latest version?

Or it could be that the latest version reverted to old copies of some of the dll

I downloaded twice before I post this post to be sure

In my Windows Desktop version 22.6.9 I have

so I don’t know where your version dated 08/06/2022 came from

That seems huge and out of place

I am not an expert on the server version so I will have to leave it here - sorry

Thank you anyway for your response

Copy the folder to somewhere else and start a fresh install following Windows | Manager

Your data should be in a different folder in any case, re-import the business as needed.

I know that and I’m in the process of doing it, I was just wondering if it is normal or not?

It is normal to be asked to keep or overwrite files that already exist. When upgrading you usually allow all overwrites which can be done by allowing overwrite for all. Sometimes old files become redundant and you can either keep them there or delete them.
