I have tried updating to the current version of MANAGER , it says it has updated to the latest version but it has not. So when invoicing the Purchase order number and the Quote refence does not appear when I begin invoicing
What edition (Desktop, Cloud or Server) and what version are you using?

@Maria_Simoes, you have only answered half of @Joe91’s questions. You are apparently running the desktop edition. But what version number? See Determine version number | Manager.
And what do you mean by “it says it has updated to the latest version but it has not?” What says that? And why do you believe it is not true? You need to illustrate the exact problem with screen shots.
First, verify the actual version number you are using, following the Guide linked above.
Then, post screen shots of the Edit screens for:
- A purchase quote.
- The corresponding purchase order.
- The corresponding purchase invoice.
