There are 2 download options for Mac. One is for older Intel-based macs and is referred to at the link below the big blue Free download button which is for Silicon-based macs (M1, M2 and M3). It looks like you have an older mac so need to download the intel based one from https://github.com/Manager-io/Manager/releases/latest/download/Manager-osx-x64.dmg

The problem then is that the old Mac version is 24.5.3.1498 which is earlier than the latest version (24.8.11), therefore I am assuming that the HTTP protocol is not installed in the earlier Mac version. Could you please confirm that it has been or is being updated to reflect the current version attributes.
