Two types of sales invoice required

hi friends , I am new to Manager, in India Punjab we need to have two types of sales invoice

  1. Vat invoice for dealers or re-sellers
    2)retail invoice for final consumers
    and we need to number these both separately

Not available, use a stamp for the other. Or you can print one type of invoice pre numbered from excel or something and then issue them.

After Manager assigns invoice numbers automatically, you can edit them. So you could add prefixes of VAT and RET or something similar. Or just put VAT on that series. When Manager numbers automatically, it ignores letters and punctuation marks in the invoice numbers and just finds the highest number, then adds one.

This gives you the benefit of having your two series plus knowing that all invoices are sequential.
