Summary screen shows notice of future-dated transactions

As of this morning our summary screens for two businesses are showing this notice:

(In the second business there are only 8 such transactions.)

In the second business we haven’t made any changes or entered any transactions today yet. There is nothing in history for today. In the first business we have only created and updated a few sales orders, sales invoices, and receipts. I have been through all the transaction tabs and there is nothing with a future date.

I created a General Ledger Transactions report for the period from 27/02/2025 to 28/02/2026, and there are hundreds of entries under “Inventory - cost” and “Inventory on hand” for the dates 27/02/2025 and 28/02/2026, as well as single transactions under other accounts:

Is this behaviour intended? Do we need to do anything to change it and return everything to current or past dates?

We are using the Cloud edition, currently on 25.2.26.2115.

To me this message looks like a result of automatic entry with an infinite future Date.

Your first business seems to have too many discrepancies in Inventory while the second one looks like only 4 items have that issue.

As suggested in similar topics before, I have scrolled through each tab but couldn’t identify the transaction after the set date. Apart from scrolling on the tabs, is there any other way to locate the problem?

I dont have any future date entry and the message is also showing in my summary. I guess the message is showing on everyone’s summary.

Any better way to fix that?

This is now fixed in the latest version (25.2.26.2116)

we use online version and we have same problem please we need assist or clarification @lubos

Thank you @lubos. I have updated and the notices have disappeared.

For those asking how to check for future-dated transactions, you can create a General Ledger Transactions report and specify a date range in the future.

@lubos, you have updated the fix. But, how to find the problem?

@GrahamvdR thanks for your solution. But, what future date to put in. For example, if i put a future date for year 2040 but the actual typo year is 2050 then I’m sure it will be ignored in the report. Please comment.

There is no problem. Manager does create some automatic transactions to handle negative inventory and those transactions in the future were addbacks.

@lubos Do we need to correct those dates or need nothing to do?

Nothing to do.
