Show QTY/price column in panels/tabs & Projects

Hi Managers,

Is there away to show QTY as a coloumn in different panels and in projects just like what we do to the custom Fields?
Similarly to the price field

That is a very difficult question to answer - as there are so many different displays in Manager the request is vague

Can you be more specific about what displays you would like to see the Quantity on - and indeed, which Quantity as there are multiple quantity fields in Manager?

Preferably, show a screen copy of the screens where you like to see the quantity

you can find an example screen shot of sales order tab
the QTY coloumn does not show and IDK what to do to show it as it’s an important Metric in trading business

I’m here refering to the QTY of the item in use goods or service it’s each one has its QTY and unit ofc

@Mahmoud_Mohsen1, the reason you cannot and will not be able to do that is that there is no quantity variable associated with a transaction form itself. And information in tab listings is about overall transactions. Quantities are associated with individual line items.

Consider a sales order (or any other transaction type) with 20 line items, some representing units of inventory, some representing hours of billable time, others representing days of equipment rental. There is no variable showing the total of all the quantities because there is no common unit. The number would be meaningless. And you can hardly find it useful to list 20 different quantities in a summary list.

What you might find useful in your unique business situation does not make sense for general accounting purposes. This is why there are custom fields.

For similar reasons, only the overall amount is shown. Again, you cannot expect a list of unit prices for multiple line items.

Since I’m working on ability to edit columns on every screen, there is no reason why we can’t add total qty column as a choice. For those who it makes sense for, they can make it visible.
