It seems like what you are asking is unreasonable. How to calculate quantity if the sales invoice has more than one item with different units?

we need total Quantity not different type of products qty like weight, qty etc … we need total qty like in sale order Qty
@Mabaega already indicated that your request is unreasonable. Invoices often carry many different types of products with different types of units. Assume you invoice 2 t-shirts and 3 kg detergent, what sense would total Quantity, in this case of 5 items, mean?

That only happens when the units of measurement are the same. In most instances these are not as it is common practice to indicate the unit of measurement. For example a total Qty of 2 where one is a lock and the other one a 40 feet high cube container has no purpose.
if you add the Total Quantity in Sale Invoice its very helpful, its need in Tax purpose and quantity check etc. otherwise we do all counting by check each invoice and update quantity

I’m trying to get a good use case to support your request but haven’t found any.
I am a user like yourself. Moderators like @Abeiku and @Tut are very knowledgeable about Manager and often also about accounting but are also users like us. They manage the forum and can promote a topic to ideas once convinced that there is a good use case. Any item in the ideas category will be considered but could take years to implement depending on complexity and co-depence on other items.
From @Abeiku’s reply you have not yet made that use case.
