Sending Email in HTML format

I want to send emails in HTML format so I can have different text formats and images in the message. Looking through the guides and in the Forum posts, I found the “Google Gmail” guide.

In the guide, under Step 4: Configure email settings in Manager, there’s this illustration with a “Format” option in the Email Settings. However, in my Manager desktop version (22.1.36) that option is not displayed.

Is the “Email sending format” an obsolete feature and now all emails are sent as simple text?

Yes, guides are not updated as frequently as the program.

No. What is the result of the test email you’ve sent? Also search the Guides for email template.

My 'no" refers to the fact that you can no longer use HTML as email format. In older versions you could select plain or HTML.

Thanks for the clarification and I appreciate the time you’ve taken to resolve my question.

You can create html templates, that means that HTML emails are supported. It’s just that the field “Email sending format” has been dropped.

You can go to Settings > Email Templates and you can inject as much HTML as you like.

Actually no, please share am example as I have not even been able to put sone stuff in ,

Here’s an example of an HTML email.

All the text fields in manager accept HTML and email templates are no exception.

I’ll update a template and see if I can get it to work. Now I understand why @Mark asked about my template.
Thanks.

can you share the sample code for your email template? I really need the HTML template for the email.

This is a very old conversation and the HTML option is not available anymore.
There are email templates for features that allow them and you can learn about them in the Use email templates Guide.

Here is a forum conversation that might help you work out what you want.

Good luck

Thanks for the information @twodogzz
