I’m wondering if there is a search function available to Sales orders where we can search for one term but exclude another term.
We are a service based business and use sales orders with the addition of several custom fields (also seen as columns in the sales order tab) to manage and track our workflow. We have a job status field that is set up as a “multi value custom field” so we can mark services with different statuses.
For example an order may be for a report (Pending) or for a report and application (Pending, DA Prep). This would result in the job status showing one or both of these things because the two processes can be undertaken simultaneously. See below screenshot from the sales order list showing the job status and how they appear.
I can easily search for “Pending, DA Prep” to give me a list of orders that contain both services.
What I’m trying to achieve is to be able to see just the “pending” services on there own. Is there a way of excluding rows that contain "prep” in the search function? I’m assuming if its possible there would be a formula or something that would need to be applied but I’m not sure how to achieve that.
