By enabling the different tabs under Customize (see Add a new business), Manager will automatically create the corresponding accounts in the Chart of Accounts, which is all explained in the guides.
This is a Manager forum. To enable clear discussions to occur everyone has to use Manager’s terminology, by which I mean you specify the tab data is entered by using the the tab label Manager uses.
Journal entry is a tab in Manager. If you are utilising Manager as it is designed you should rarely if ever use that tab.
Manager does now have the ability to display most transactions as the underlying ‘journal entry’ which is equivalent to the Manager transaction entered. Manager is a double entry accounting system which means every accounting entry can be expressed as a balanced journal entry. However that is very different to entering all transactions in Manager’s journal entry tab.

yes i get it now, i will test out the features, as you all were saying, i have to be very careful when i do journal entries to make sure the accounts are correct, if i am using Manager correctly it should be much easier

yes it was a bit confusing but now I get it, will try to use those features, i should able to make the accounts much better
