It sounds as though that business file could be corrupted.
If you have access to another computer, load Manager and copy your business files over and see would happens.
@sharpdrivetek earlier said he was not asking about custom themes. But now I am.
Does the business giving you this trouble include any custom themes? If so, deactivate them under Settings and see if the problem remains. (You can always reactivate them later.)
If you can open the Sales Orders tab without any active themes except Plain, that is where your problem lies.
This is a major mistake. Always have a backup, on a separate drive, recent enough that you are willing and able to reconstruct all transactions since it was made.
It may be worthwhile emailing the business file to @lubos so that he can investigate, as it’s an internal error.
Even if it was caused by a user’s action, the program should catch that error and show a more appropriate message instead (or prevent the problem in the first place).
when trying the above suggestion please make sure you copy your whole custom theme to any text file before deleting it. unlike other in-built themes you cannot deactivate any custom themes, you can only delete them.
I did not suggest deleting anything. I suggested making themes inactive.

As sharpdrivetek pointed out, it is not currently possible to make a custom theme inactive.
So the only way to ‘deactivate’ it would be to make a copy of the code someplace else, and to temporarily delete it. Otherwise it is always active.

i have Custom theme using in Sale Order . But now i have delete all custom theme but now this theme is not giving option to delete.
is it possible to sought out (open sales order ) this without delete the data ???
i am suffering
just delete all the code in your custom theme, replace it with the plain theme code and click update.
@mastertrading if you still experience this error, please email your backup file to bugs@manager.io and it can be investigated further.
