im using last updated version of manager and im just wondering if its correct or not regarding the view of retained earning screen shot below … is it normal to have inventory items without any amount … what i means why it does it show there if there no amount associate with it?
Did you enter any starting balances for these inventory items?
no starting balances just few purchase orders
does it help if i said that few of these purchase orders contain shipping and some of them does not have for the same item?
So yeah additional information … i know now what cause this issue … the shipping cost added to the item , here what i have test so far
i have tried to remove the shipping fees and recalculate cost then item disappear from retained earning …
next i add back the shipping fees and do recalculate for cost again then item appear again in retained earning.
so i guess its a bug
Maybe it’s a bug and maybe it isn’t.
I say this because Manager accounts for Purchase Orders as transactions for project costing purposes.
Please share the edit screen of your Purchase Orders with shipping fees as this could help us determine if a bug report is needed
In your case @palfal, this is a Purchase Invoice and not a Purchase Order.
Anyway, I tried to reproduce the issue but I couldn’t. I have had some automatic entries but none of them were relating to the Purchase Order/Invoice.
Therefore I cannot determine if there was anything wrong with your situation.
I can however, confirm that the current setup is confusing since these figures are not traceable.
sorry its my mistake, i dont have purchase orders in my setup … i just have purchase invoices and some of these purchase invoices does have shipping fees but when an item comes with multiple purchase invoices that some of them have shipping and some does not have shipping then the item shows in retained earnning screen with no amount.
This happened with the versions Including option to recalculate inventory items
any way there is no issue don’t worry.
