I recently training to check on my inventory list in “Inventory Items” tab and i discover that some items that is zero in qty is showing total cost which is not normal.
I count this as a bug and please look into it on time. below is the screenshot of what am saying, look at column that i tick
There is edge case where this could happen. In the latest version (25.1.6), the program will ensure if Qty owned is zero, then Total cost will be also zero. Otherwise it will be a function:
Why not make recalculate button start calculating from the start and make a unit price entry for every in and out of each item? Currently it calculates it for the last available cost (if qty is not zero). This way unit price of every item will be up to date at any date in a period and will match the previous automatic recalculation method but now with just a click.
in inventory account’s not everything must done by just a click, it must be evidence and running balances “value and qty” to avoid any trust issues,
