Why is the Inventory Quantity Summary report not adequate? If you want to limit the report to a single item, copy it to the clipboard, paste into a spreadsheet, and delete the other rows.

because reporting section is very weak !
It would be better for you to be specific about what you want than to say the whole reporting system is weak.
