As my client is a builder some of his jobs are quoted. We would like to keep time (like billable time obviously that does not charge the customer) and expenses recorded to see how much profit is made and/or to help quote future similar jobs.
Manager is not a timekeeping or cost estimating application. It is an accounting program. Those are very different things.
That said, you can use divisions to determine profitability on jobs, treating each job as a division. But that is not really what you want.
Manager will have a Job Costing feature soon.
