Receipt to payment

Is there an easy way to amend a Receipts to payment, a couple of transactions have come through on the credit card as Receipts and they are actually Payments. or do I have to delete and do manually

There used to be, when receipts and payments were combined. But not anymore. You’ll have to do it manually.

Convert a Payment to a Receipt and Vice Versa

Using 22.8.28.334 - I have just run into the same problem. I entered, by mistake, 40 receipts when they should have been payments. There used to be a simple toggle to change this in each transaction. The current “Copy to Payment” solution is excruciating. It does not copy the date, nor the bank account from the original. @Wornout, if you have only a couple to switch, you’ve already spent more time than entering transactions manually. The method outlined in that linked thread is valid, but only makes sense when there are many transactions to convert.

Yes I have spent more time on the 3 transactions than necessary but at least I will know if there is a next time . I wasnt actually sure if the button that used to be there to change it had been moved to some where else
