I am currently creating a simple journal entry report wherein I can view all journal entries made in a daily basis. I just noticed that all receipt transactions shows the credit line first. Is there a way to make the report show the debit line first as a standard?
Please show the edit screen of your report
Add a line to the Order by section - Credit ascending
I would also suggest that you rename your report as it is not a Journal Entry Report but a list of all transactions not just journal entries
Not sure you will get what you want once you have more than one entry per day - in fact, I am not sure what this report is for at all
Thank you so much, Joe! Yes, the report’s name is not right lol… My goal here is to have a glance of each transaction on a daily basis. Here is what it looks like now, thanks a lot!
Still not sure what you expect to do with that report?
But if it fits your purpose, that’s well and good
@charlonhuan, it looks to me like all you’ve done is recreate the trial balance day by day. Why not use the built-in report?
