Quarterly Sales Report

Hello.
Just finished 2016. All good. Incredibly good.
Congratulations to the developers. And thanks a lot.

Apart, does anyone can tell me how to make a sales report, as in quarterly sales report, stating customer invoices and total $ sales for a given period.

Thanks and have a good 2017

Have you look at the Reports tab?

Thanks for your fast response.
Yes I have.
But none of the active items (in blue color) that I see are related to sales.
And no title (in gray color) is sales related either.

In Custom Reports. “Select Sales” returns: System.InvalidOperationException: Sequence contains no elements at System.Linq.Enumerable.First[TSource](IEnumerable`1 source) at ManagerServer.HttpHandlers.Businesses.Business.Reports.CustomReports.CustomReports2.Post()

Probably I just don’t know what I’m doing.
Thanks the same

Your original question was vague. What exactly would your desired report include?

Sorry.
All I need is a list of Invoices issued by a company in a given period of time (quarter or whole year) with dollar value of each and a total sales value in dollars for said period . Thanks

I think the easiest way to get that would be to go to the Sales Invoices tab. There, you could somewhat limit the list with the search function. For a full-year report, for example, search on “2016” and get a list of all sales invoices with 2016 in the date. Then export the list and import it to a spreadsheet.

If you want a quarter’s worth of data, you would have to manipulate the import in the spreadsheet based on dates.

Spreadsheets give you much more flexibility in designing reports than is possible in Manager.

If all your business is not from sales invoices, you could also drill down from the Summary page on your income accounts and export the results. You might want to combine several exports into a single report.

OK.
Thank you very much.
I’ll let you know how I fared.
